Def Leppard Takes “Let’s Go” To (#1) This Week In 2015


This very week in 2015, Def Leppard would score their first of five (#1) singles from their self-titled album with “Let’s Go”.  The hit would spend three weeks on top and eight weeks as the top Rock song.  The “Def Leppard” album would eventually spend (17) weeks at (#1) and has been certified Diamond on Byrdbored.  The album is now one of four Diamond certified albums for the Rock band from Sheffield, England.

The Scorpions “Rock” Byrdbored This Week In 1984


This week in 1984, The Scorpions would hit (#1) on Byrdbored with “Rock You Like A Hurricane”.  The rocker would eventually spend four weeks on top and (25) weeks in the top ten to be certified Diamond.  The hit also spent six weeks as the top Rock song.  It is the only (#1) hit song from the German Rock band, but they did get all the way to (#2) with their 1982 hit, “No One Like You”.

Bon Jovi Rule Byrdbored with “Everyday” This Week in 2002!


This week in 2002, Bon Jovi spent their third straight week on top of Byrdbored with “Everyday”. The hit would eventually spend six weeks on top and become one of nine Diamond certified singles for Bon Jovi.  The band have scored (23) all-time (#1) singles and a Byrdbored record (58) Byrdy Dozen hit singles.  Bon Jovi is currently ranked as the (#3) artist in Byrdbored history and was inducted into the Nest Of Fame in 2006.

Bryan Adams Takes “Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman?” To (#1) On Byrdbored In 1995!


This very week in 1995, Bryan Adams scored one of his (16) hit songs to go to the top of Byrdbored as “Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman?” led the Singles Chart.  The (#1) hit also spent three weeks as the top Hot AC song and is from the original motion picture soundtrack of Don Juan DeMarco.  The tune was the first hit from his album, “18 ‘Til I Die”, which also hit the top of Byrdbored and spent seven weeks at (#1) on the Albums Chart.  It has been certified 4x Platinum to date.

Finger Eleven Spends 4th Week on Top With “Wolves And Doors” This Week In 2017!


It was this week four years ago that Finger Eleven spent their fourth and final week on top of the Byrdbored Singles Chart with “Wolves And Doors”.  The hit single spent three months in the Byrdy Dozen and has been certified Platinum.  “Wolves And Doors” became the group’s fourth (#1) single.  The band’s biggest hit is 2006’s “Paralyzer”, which spent six weeks on top and twenty weeks in the Byrdy Dozen and has been certified Diamond.  “Paralyzer” is currently ranked as the (#52) song in Byrdbored history.
